Amos 5:13 Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time, for it is an evil time.
During the COVID and vaccine hoopla, the mainstream media focused on pastors who had spoke out the vaccine but yet died of COVID later. Marcus Lamb was the most prominent of the bunch. The target audience, Christians, took note of this, and many got vaccinated. I only know of one person who prayed about which vaccine to take. That person was told by Yah to take the Johnson & Johnson one.
I saw those stories in the media as a sign to avoid talking about the vaccine and keep what I was doing private. I screwed up a few times, but once I saw people’s reaction, whether for or against the shot, their antagonistic and/or prideful declarations forced me to zip my lips.
This was practice: to prepare us for other things coming down the road; to keep our eyes, ears, and hearts upon the Lord; to seek His knowledge and wisdom as the days grow darker still, to pay attention to the work of the Lord around us, to learn from other people’s mistakes and our own.
Discernment is paramount.
Ecclesiastes 3:7 …a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak….
