In Revelation 1:10 and Revelation 4:2, the Greek phrase for “in the spirit” is egenomen en pneumatic and literally means “I came to be in-of the air (spirit).” You do not “catch” the Spirit; He is already there since His will holds creation together. This is the spirit of Jesus dominating flesh and soul for a period of time.
The only way to heaven is through these items:
1. Predestination
2. Sacrificing (dying to) self daily
3. Faith (knowing God)
4. The narrow path
5. Obedience
6. Doing the truth
7. Spiritual rebirth
If your minister does not cover all seven topics, you are not getting the full picture. Never stop seeking His truth daily.
The 144,000 are the first-fruit of Christ’s harvest (the Ekklesia). A small amount from the start of the harvest season or animals birthed in the spring were brought to the Tabernacle/Temple as a thanksgiving sacrifice. This is the shadow for a small group Jesus plucks from spiritual Israel (followers of Christ), dedicated to a special role at the end of this age.
Two lampstands (candlesticks) and two olives trees – one of each represents the king (leadership, guidance) and priest (nurturing, instructing) groups of natural and spiritual Israel.
YHWH cannot be contained in the works of mortal hands. He uses all men for His purposes. May we all be privy to His will at work.
If you want the joy of the Lord, you must also accept the pain He has in His heart.
The foolishness of God (1 Corinthians 1:25) is the creation of us mortals, imperfect and obstinate we are. His weakness is His patient loving-kindness, which we possess very little of apart from Him.
When a spiritual battle appears, the hang-ups and distractions of concerning self evaporate immediately. Trips me out when that happens and I realize it is all His doing. Refinement never stops until we leave this existence.
The reality of human teachers is this: Jesus was the only one without flaws, which is why we have to rely on the Holy Spirit, Who is Christ within us (Luke 24:49, John 4:10, John 7:37-39, John 14:16-17, John 14:26, John 15:26, John 16:7, John 16:13, Acts 1:4, Acts 5:32, 1 Thessalonians 3:11).
The Lord set it up that only His Son could fulfill the five statues of the kings in Deuteronomy 17:14-20 consistently.
Do believers realize our bodies are creations from multiple creations? That means we were designed from the get-go to be imperfect. Only the Spirit of God can overcome that.
