Super Quick Bible Study: Oh, How God Loves Us!

Psalm 8:3-9
When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which You have set in place,
what is man that You are mindful of him,
and the son of man that You care for him?

Yet You have made him a little lower than the heavenly [spirit] beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.
 You have given him dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet, [Hebrews 2:6-8]
all sheep and oxen,
and also the beasts of the field,
the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea,
whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

O YHWH, our Lord,
how majestic is Your name in all the earth!

Hebrews 2:9 – But we see Him who has been made a little lower than the angels (spirit beings), Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He should taste of death for everyone.

1 Corinthians 1:25 – Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

All of creation comes from Him and the spiritual essence (breath) of creation will return to Him. In creating us, YHWH humbled Himself; therefore, He continues to humble Himself to keep us alive. This is why He is long-suffering (slow to anger). Everything in creation is a part of Him! He hates watching mankind destroy itself (Ezekiel 18:23, Ezekiel 18:32, Ezekiel 33:11), but the twisting of His goodness (how creation functions) must be corrected (judgment, cleansed) from time-to-time.

Micah 7:18 – Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in unchanging love.

He wants us to get to know Him directly, so He can bless us according to His Will and Nature (His Name!) One of the Hebrew words for bless (barak) literally means to get down on one’s knees and present a gift:

Father Yah humbled Himself further by giving us the greatest gift of all – His Word in the flesh (John 1:1-5, Genesis 1:1-3, Proverbs 8:30, Revelation 19:13).

May the Highest Elohim be honored by the continued revelation of His Word. Amen.
