Super Quick Bible Study: Good vs. Decent

Good (tov), in the Hebrew, means “functioning correctly;” therefore, decent means “striving to function correctly.” Yahshua said, “No one is good, but the Father [Mark 10:18, Luke 18:19].” Be decent and encourage those who are.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.

Matthew 7:13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Isaiah 35:8 And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it—only those who walk in the Way—and fools will not stray onto it.
