I had been casually pondering what Yahshua meant when He used the word lukewarm in the following passage:
Revelation 3:16 (Literal Translation) – Thus because you are lukewarm, and neither hot, nor cold, I am about to vomit you out of the mouth of me.
As I walked up the stairs in my home, a simple phrase spoke into my mind, “Lukewarm is comfortable.”I did a search on the ‘net, revelation bible lukewarm is comfortable and all kinds of links pertaining to this subject appeared.
I got a problem…
We humans strive for comfort, thinking that is the place we are supposed to be. No, we are to strive for His sake, for His Word, for His face (favor in resting in His perfect Will), that He gives us breaks from time-to-time.
Yeah, I am too comfortable…
