During a Bible study on Hebrews 6-7, the teacher-elder wanted us to think about our role as a kingly priest serving Christ and the Body. He used intercessory prayer as an example; we should consider the 5 Ws and 1 Hs about it. I am not completely sure what he was getting at, but the hows are arbitrary according to the Spirit.
A few mornings later, I asked the Lord, “How does our service—Your Will through us—manifests in an orderly way, although our human minds perceive chaos in being Spirit-led?”
The answer came quickly. “Music.”
Light-bulb moment… Why hadn’t I thought of that? True believers around the world, his instruments, deliver (submit) the notes He plays (works). We in the carnal cannot see or hear the total symphony, but He can and it is mostly for His enjoyment (delight, glory). Church and religion believe we need to order this symphony for fleshly and/or soulish comprehension (ritual, doctrine, tradition, etc.) He has stated more than enough times He does not need our help; all we have to do is seek His supernatural Will and do it.
Do you trust His supernatural Will? Will you let His “music play” through you and rest from your own “songs?”
