Super Quick Bible Study: Heart of Clay

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O Yah, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Isaiah 29:16 You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That what is made would say to its maker, “He did not make me”; Or what is formed say to him who formed it, “He has no understanding”?

Isaiah 45:9 Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker—an earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth! Will the clay say to the potter, “What are you doing?” Or the thing you are making say, “He has no hands”?

Isaiah 64:8 But now, O YHWH, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Jeremiah 18:6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done?” declares YHWH. “Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.”

Jeremiah 24:7 I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am YHWH; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.

Ezekiel 11:19-20 And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep [protect] My rules and obey them. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

Ezekiel 36:25-26 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

2 Corinthians 3:3 And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written [inscribed] not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!
