James 1:19-20 (ESV) Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Matthew 5:22 [Yahshua said,] “But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca (Stupid),’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be subject to the fire of hell.”
Ephesians 4:26-27 (ESV) Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.
Psalm 4:4 (Literal Translation) Be agitated and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds and be still. Selah
Anger serves no purpose other than an entryway for the adversary, so he can continue corrupting us. The only way to overcome this is by reformatting our mind/heart through the Spirit of Christ. Easier said than done, right? We must trust He will help us overcome anything we want fixed within us. Of course, it is about His timing, if that is what He wants us to repair at the moment.
