Yah’s Word (revelation) is unleavened bread:

Ezekiel 3
¹Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” ²So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll.

³And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.” So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.

⁴Then He said to me: “Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.”

Revelation 10
⁸Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.”

⁹So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.”

And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”

¹⁰Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. ¹¹And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”

What is Yahshua to us?

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 6
²²The next day, the crowd that had remained on the other side of the sea realized that only one boat had been there, and that Jesus had not boarded it with His disciples, but they had gone away alone. ²³However, some boats from Tiberias landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. ²⁴So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, they got into the boats and went to Capernaum to look for Him. ²⁵When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they asked Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?”

²⁶Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, it is not because you saw these signs that you are looking for Me, but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. ²⁷Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.”

²⁸Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”

²⁹Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.”

³⁰So they asked Him, “What sign then will You perform, so that we may see it and believe You? What will You do? ³¹Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”

³²Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. ³³For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

³⁴“Sir,” they said, “give us this bread at all times.”

³⁵Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst. ³⁶But as I stated, you have seen Me and still you do not believe.

³⁷Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never drive away. ³⁸For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me.

³⁹And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me but raise them up at the last day. ⁴⁰For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

⁴¹At this, the Jews began to grumble about Jesus because He had said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” ⁴²They were asking, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then can He say, ‘I have come down from heaven?’”

⁴³“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus replied. ⁴⁴“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁴⁵It is written in the Prophets: ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him comes to Me— ⁴⁶not that anyone has seen the Father except the One who is from God; only He has seen the Father.

⁴⁷Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has eternal life. ⁴⁸I am the bread of life. ⁴⁹Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. ⁵⁰This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that anyone may eat of it and not die. ⁵¹I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.”

⁵²At this, the Jews began to argue among themselves, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?”

⁵³So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Man, you have no life in you. ⁵⁴Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁵⁵For My flesh is real food, and My blood is real drink.

⁵⁶Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. ⁵⁷Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. ⁵⁸This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your fathers, who ate the manna and died, the one who eats this bread will live forever.”

Matthew 26
²⁶And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”

²⁷Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. ²⁸For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. ²⁹But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

Luke 22
¹⁷Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; ¹⁸for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

¹⁹And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

²⁰Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”

Mark 14
²²And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”

²³Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. ²⁴And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. ²⁵Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

1 Corinthians 10:16 Is not the cup of blessing that we bless a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?

1 Corinthians 11
²³For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; ²⁴and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” ²⁵In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

If His Word (flesh) is food what is His blood? Why is blood so important?

Genesis 9:4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

Leviticus 3:17 This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.

Leviticus 7:26 You must not eat the blood of any bird or animal in any of your dwellings.

Leviticus 19:26 You must not eat anything with blood still in it. You must not practice divination or sorcery.

Our soul (life) is in our blood. Our life is how we live it—our actions, whether man or beast. Innocent animals were once used to covered man’s sin:

Leviticus 1:5 And he shall slaughter the young bull before YHWH, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and sprinkle it on all sides of the altar at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

Leviticus 1:11
He shall slaughter it on the north side of the altar before YHWH, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.

Leviticus 17
¹⁰If anyone from the house of Israel or a foreigner living among them eats any blood, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from among his people. ¹¹For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for your souls upon the altar; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. ¹²Therefore I say to the Israelites, “None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner living among you eat blood.”

¹³And if any Israelite or foreigner living among them hunts down a wild animal or bird that may be eaten, he must drain its blood and cover it with dirt. ¹⁴For the life of all flesh is its blood. Therefore, I have told the Israelites, “You must not eat the blood of any living thing, because the life of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it must be cut off.”

Ezekiel 43:18
Then He said to me: “Son of man, this is what YHWH Elohim says: ‘These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is constructed, so that burnt offerings may be sacrificed on it and blood may be sprinkled on it.’”

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, in fact, nearly everything must be purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Blood shed (or murder) without cause was an abomination:

Numbers 35:33 Do not pollute the land where you live, for bloodshed pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land on which the blood is shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.

Deuteronomy 21
¹“If anyone is found slain, lying in the field in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess, and it is not known who killed him, ²then your elders and your judges shall go out and measure the distance from the slain man to the surrounding cities.

³And it shall be that the elders of the city nearest to the slain man will take a heifer which has not been worked and which has not pulled with a yoke. ⁴The elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with flowing water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and they shall break the heifer’s neck there in the valley.

⁵Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come near, for the Lord your God has chosen them to minister to Him and to bless in the name of the Lord; by their word every controversy and every assault shall be settled. ⁶And all the elders of that city nearest to the slain man shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley. ⁷Then they shall answer and say, “Our hands have not shed this blood, nor have our eyes seen it.⁸Provide atonement, O Lord, for Your people Israel, whom You have redeemed, and do not lay innocent blood to the charge of Your people Israel.”

And atonement shall be provided on their behalf for the blood. ⁹So you shall put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you when you do what is right in the sight of the Lord.

Matthew 27:24 When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but that instead a riot was breaking out, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “You bear the responsibility.”

The Blood of Christ is His life, His soul, His works (actions) unto the Father and us. His blood (life, soul, actions) is the final atonement to the Father for our sins:

John 1:29 The next day [John] saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the [final Passover] Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

John 3:16 For Yah so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Genesis 4:10 And He said, “What have you [Cain] done? The voice of your brother’s [Abel’s] blood cries out to Me from the ground.”

Hebrews 12:24 …to Yahshua, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Acts 20:28 Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which He obtained with His own blood.

Romans 3:25 Whom God put forward as a propitiation by His blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over former sins.

Romans 5:9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by His blood, much more shall we be saved by Him from the wrath of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Ha Mashiach Yahshua, our Lord.

Colossians 1:20 …and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace…

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Ha Mashiach Yahshua you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of HaMashiach.

Hebrews 2:14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil…

Hebrews 9
¹¹But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made by hands and is not a part of this creation. ¹²He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption.

¹³For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that their bodies are clean, ¹⁴how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our consciences from works of death, so that we may serve the living God!

¹⁵Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

¹⁶In the case of a will, it is necessary to establish the death of the one who made it, ¹⁷because a will does not take effect until the one who made it has died; it cannot be executed while he is still alive.

¹⁸That is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood. ¹⁹For when Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, along with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people, ²⁰saying, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.”

²¹In the same way, he sprinkled with blood the tabernacle and all the vessels used in worship. ²²According to the law, in fact, nearly everything must be purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

²³So it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. ²⁴For Christ did not enter a man-made copy of the true sanctuary, but He entered heaven itself, now to appear on our behalf in the presence of God.

²⁵Nor did He enter heaven to offer Himself again and again, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. ²⁶Otherwise, Christ would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

²⁷Just as man is appointed to die once, and after that to face judgment, ²⁸so also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him.

Hebrews 10
¹For the Law, having a shadow of the good things coming, not the form of the things themselves, never is able each year, with the same sacrifices which they offer continually, to perfect those drawing near. ²Otherwise, would they not have ceased being offered, because of those serving having been cleansed once, no longer having conscience of sins?

³But in these, there is a reminder of sins every year. ⁴For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and of goats to take away sins. ⁵Therefore coming into the world, He says:

“Sacrifice and offering You have not desired,
but a body You have prepared me.
⁶In burnt offerings and offerings for sin
You have not delighted.
⁷Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
in the scroll of the book it is written of Me—
to do Your will, O God.’” [Psalm 40:6-8]

⁸Saying above, “Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offerings for sin, You have not desired, nor have You delighted in” (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first that He might establish the second. ¹⁰By that will, we are having been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹¹And indeed every priest stands every day, ministering and offering the same sacrifices repeatedly, which never are able to take away sins. ¹²But this One, having offered one sacrifice for sins in perpetuity, sat down at the right hand of God, ¹³the henceforth awaiting until His enemies should be placed as a footstool for His feet. ¹⁴For by one offering, He has perfected for all time those being sanctified.

¹⁵And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after having said before:

¹⁶“This is the covenant that I will make with them,
after those days, says the Lord,
putting My Laws into their hearts,
and I will inscribe them into their mind,” [Jeremiah 31:33]

¹⁷and,

“Their sins and their lawless acts,
I will remember no more.” [Jeremiah 31:34]

¹⁸Now where there is forgiveness of these, no longer is there an offering for sin.

¹⁹Therefore, brothers, having confidence for entering the holy places by the blood of Yahshua, ²⁰by a new and living way, which He dedicated for us through the veil that is His flesh, ²¹and having a great priest over the house of God, ²²we should draw near with a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our body having been washed with pure water.

²⁶For if we sin willingly after we are to receive the knowledge of the truth, no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, ²⁷but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment and fury of fire being about to devour the adversaries. ²⁸Anyone having set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercies on the basis of two or three witnesses. ²⁹How much worse punishment do you think will he deserve, the one having trampled upon the Son of God, and having esteemed ordinary the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 13:12 So, Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through His own blood.

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant.

1 Peter 1:18-19 …knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 2:2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 3:8 The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 5:6 This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies because the Spirit is the truth.

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood.

Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by Your blood You ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.”

Revelation 7:14 I [John] said to [the angel], “Sir, you know.”

And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Revelation 12:11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

What happens when we drink His blood?

Matthew 6 and Luke 11:34–35
²²“The eye is the lamp of the body; so then, if your eye is clear (single, simple), your whole body will be full of light. ²³But if your eye is bad (evil), your whole body will be full of darkness. So, if the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Matthew 13
¹⁰And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

¹¹He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. ¹²For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. ¹³Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. ¹⁴And in them the prophecy of Isaiah (6:10) is fulfilled, which says:

‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not perceive;
¹⁵For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.’

¹⁶But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; ¹⁷for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

Ephesians 1
¹⁷…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him.

¹⁸I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe.

The Israelites anointed their doorways with Christ and ate Him:

Exodus 12
¹Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, ²“This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. ³Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. ⁴And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb.

⁵Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.

Without blemish = without sin
A male of the first year = virgin male
Sheep = Israelite
Goats = Gentile

⁶Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.

The Word…dwelt among us.

John 1:11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.

⁷And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.

The threshold covenant—the household sacrificial altar at the doorway’s threshold—lifted up at the Passover, and later converted to the final altar on the cross.

⁸Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. ⁹Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its entrails.

Eat the flesh = receiving His atonement, making it a part of you
On that night = ready to receive the light of revelation
Roasted in fire = trials of life
With unleavened bread = the pure, untainted Word of Yah
With bitter herbs = you own will, desires
Raw = killing without a purpose or bloodthirsty
Boiled = trying to hide from trouble, fearful
Roasted whole = Christ’s body was whole and unbroken

¹⁰You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire.

Our actions will be tested by His fire. See 1 Corinthians 3:12–15, Jeremiah 23:29.

¹¹And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.

Belt on your waist = truth binds us. See Ephesians 6:14, Psalm 109:19, Isaiah 11:5
Staff in hand = exercise the power and authority He has given you
Eat in haste = don’t waste time
Passover = Everlasting redemption

¹²‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. ¹³Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

¹⁴‘So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.”

Judgment (correction) or condemnation, for the believer or not, is always at hand. Be ready at all times.

Another mark of Yahshua as the final Passover lamb.

Exodus 12:46 It must be eaten inside one house. You are not to take any of the meat outside the house, and you may not break any of the bones.

John 19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.

John 19:36 Now these things happened so that the Scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of His bones will be broken.” [Psalm 34:20]

They also ate the pure, undefiled Word for seven days:

¹⁵”Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel. ¹⁶On the first day there shall be a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation for you. No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat—that only may be prepared by you. ¹⁷So you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this same day I will have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt. Therefore, you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance.

¹⁸In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening. ¹⁹For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses, since whoever eats what is leavened, that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land. ²⁰You shall eat nothing leavened; in all your dwellings you shall eat unleavened bread.’”

Leaven = influence, whether good or bad, on this plane of existence
No work = Shabbot = rest from your own works and take up Yah’s Will
Seven days = take this seriously and obey; your life depends in it
Egypt = the world or this plane of existence’s corruption
Stranger = Gentile
Everlasting ordinance = never stop seeking and eating the Word, becoming a part of the Word Himself
