An Example of Slow to Obey

This is part of a screenshot of my WordPress dashboard:

WP Dashboard 2021-5-21

What year is this?

I had mentioned before the need to do these (Note the year). I have no excuse, but the stupidity of wanting to be thorough and perfect. I will combine the two, grind it out, and wait for my Favorite Content Editor (yeah, Him) to help me rewrite it. I must remind myself I can always do a part two if more revelation appears.

All praise to the One Who is long-suffering and kind, despite our knowing better. Amen.

Super Quick Bible Study: Ain’t Nothin’ New, Y’all

Ecclesiastes 7:10 Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not inquire wisely concerning this.

I read this and laughed for a minute. Most believe the past was better in some form: society, fashion, work, behavior, etc. The reality is technology may change, but human nature never does. As we transition through our lives, the reality of our corrupt existence should drive us to seek His Will and better our surroundings, instead of lamenting your past naïveté.

Isaiah 8:12 Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.

On the opposite side, stressing over things you cannot control nets nothing. It is fine to be aware but use that awareness to seek more intimacy with Our Father to help overcome the trouble within our sphere of influence.

I suggest taking a long break from entertainment, the news, social media silliness, gossipers, and the like. Trust that He will give you the information you need when you need it. When you return to digest the world’s influence again, make it minimal and benign. Why swallow someone else’s bile? If anyone need help, help them, even if it is something as simple as smiling at a person you’d normally ignore.

My main form of entertainment is researching various subjects (Biblical history and languages being tops) and watching people doing actual things, like excavating for a pond, cooking a dish, or refurbishing a car. I have trouble watching sports now because I can spot when certain things are fixed. I don’t watch movies (except Pixar), read certain books, or TV shows because I hate having my emotions (or thoughts) manipulated and most shows are only good for the first two seasons, anyways. Yes, it makes communicating with others difficult, but we are set by him to be an example to them. It has been interesting to see people who thought me weird for not watching TV end up doing the same.

Super Quick Bible Study: Does the Sabbath (Shabbot) Still Matters?

Jeremiah 17
19This is what YHVH said to me: “Go and stand at the public gate, through which the kings of Judah come in and go out, as well as at all the gates of Jerusalem; 20and say to them, ‘Listen to the word of YHVH, you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all inhabitants of Jerusalem who come in through these gates. 21This is what YHVH says: “Take care for yourselves, and do not carry any load on the Sabbath day or bring anything in through the gates of Jerusalem. 22You shall not bring a load out of your houses on the Sabbath day nor do any work, but keep the Sabbath day holy, just as I commanded your forefathers. 23Yet they did not listen or incline their ears but stiffened their necks so as not to listen or accept discipline.

24“But it will come about, if you give your attention to Me,” declares YHVH, “to bring no load in through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but to keep the Sabbath day holy by doing no work on it, 25then there will come in through the gates of this city kings and officials sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their officials, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited forever. 26They will come in from the cities of Judah and from the areas surrounding Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin, from the lowland, from the hill country, and from the Negev, bringing burnt offerings, sacrifices, grain offerings, and frankincense, and bringing sacrifices of thanksgiving to the house of YHVH. 27But if you do not listen to Me, to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying a load and coming in through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will set fire to its gates, and it will devour the palaces of Jerusalem and not go out.”’”

In short, Father Yah told the people to follow the Sabbath—nothing else, just the Sabbath—and then the influence of that action will cause them to turn back to Him, His Instructions, and His blessings. He warned them they wouldn’t, and judgment (correction) came as a result. This made me wonder what would happen if all believers did this.

My Testimony

Back in 2009, when I got serious about seeking after the Lord, He did not call me to observe Sabbath, and when I did, negative things happened. I stopped and kept seeking after Him without either religion or church.

This year, however, I was inspired to listen to Jewish and Messianic Rabbis, others who are studying Hebrew, and read their teachings. I had done so before, but this was relentless, trying to understand where they stand and why they do what they do. I would not recommend doing this until you are strongly anchored in the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Jewish Rabbis, Rebbetzin, and psychologists I have observed thus far have an excellent grasp on human nature overall. The primary negative is when they get too deep into their other writings, their understanding of plain ol’ Scripture gets clouded. For example, when some say, “That for us, not them (goyim),” or “Wrong religion,” they ignore little details like this:

Exodus 33:19 YHVH said, “I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and will show compassion to whom I will show compassion.”

Exodus 19:5-6 Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

Genesis 22:18 And in your seed [Abraham] all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

Deuteronomy 14:29 And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance among you, and the stranger, the orphan, and the widow who are in your town, shall come and eat and be satisfied, in order that YHVH your Elohim may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Jeremiah 27:6 And now I have handed all these lands over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I have also given him the animals of the field to serve him.

Isaiah 44:28 It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd, and he will carry out all My desire.’ And he says of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’ And of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.

Father Yah will correct them; it is not our responsibility. They are not hearing from Him right now, so have mercy and show grace to those who kept His Instructions on Earth as ordered.

The Messianics generally fall into two camps. The first one believes everyone should follow all 613 laws without question, creating a class of the Torah Observant Christians. The other group believes the 613 laws were for the Jews only; they either dislike the goy observing them, or they welcome Christians’ observation, especially on the feast days.

As for me, I favor those who inspire others to follow Torah and/or teach the symbolism of why they do what do. The ones who beat, “Torah, Torah, Torah,” over the listeners’ heads irk my soul, just like the Bible-thumping Fundamentalists do. That’s my problem, I understand, since I push for Scripture reading, praise with prayer, and not getting in the Holy Spirit’s way.

Once again, I decided to try to observe Shabbot and give up pork. The first few times were a bit difficult, since I am alone in this. Two Fridays ago, I woke up in the Spirit, full of revelation, and He gave me the energy to get all the food prepared. That encouraged me to continue. I am still not doing any feasts or holidays, however.

Does that mean I am becoming a Torah Observant Christian? No, and I hate labels. Certain laws don’t apply anymore, and He made sure of that by the Temple’s destruction and the rule of men He chose. Torah served many purposes and is still our tutor (Galatians 3:24) when we leave the Guidance Most Holy.

Do I have anything against people worshiping together on Sunday, or Wednesday Bible studies? Absolutely not! I am in a congregation right now. If only we could do it every day at any time, I’d love it, and so would He. Just do not call Sunday the new Shabbot. It isn’t.

Galatians 3:25  But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

Romans 6:14 For sin will not rule over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.

Galatians 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Do whatever the Lord leads you to do. Don’t make it complicated. Take heart that Yahshua will teach us all the best way to serve Our Father when He rules and reigns on Earth. Amen.

Thought Splatters: (Ploink!)

When you cannot relate, listen and learn.

Believers saying “I can’t” over minor things is one of the reasons we are losing power and influence in the world.

You cannot put Yah in a box. You put yourself in a box, and He deals with you in your self-imposed limitations of His supernatural Will.

The Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4-5), the Songs of Miriam and Moses (Exodus 15:1-18), Moses (Deuteromony 32:1-43), David (2 Samuel 22:2-51), and the Lamb (Revelation 15:2-4) need to be recited often until the words become a part of you.

We need to start being “a lamp unto His feet” (demonstrations of His active will and love) instead of worrying about other people’s lamps.

You don’t need the Kabbalah, or any extra-Biblical books to learn the hidden or deep things of the Father (although I am not against reading them). The Holy Spirit, the Bible, prayer with praise, willingness to be corrected, and striving for self-decency will cause them to be released to you.

Always remember, this current existence is our crucible of refinement.

Make it a habit to recognize our Creator’s work in you, around you, through you, and in others. Praise and thank Him for this.

When you ask for a change in your personality (like Solomon did), expect hardship and encouragement to mold you. Hardship will teach (or force) you to change; encouragement will reinforce you are on the right path.

In choosing to deal with the supernatural, you must accept dealing with the positive and negative aspects of it.

Are the fruit of the Spirit a result of using all three of the categories for the gifts of the Spirit?

Praise before you petition Him; the more you praise, the better the outcome and pushes the adversary and his minions out of the way.

Get your own revelation from Father Yah. He still speaks. He still acts. He still directs.

Having troubles keeps us aware and seeking after the Lord. It is when we are uncomfortable the Lord does his best work because we are the most open to Him.

We have to “wash in the water of the Word” [Ephesians 5:26, Ezekiel 16:9, Ezekiel 36:25, Zechariah 13:1, Psalm 51:7, Isaiah 1:18] (read, ponder, and pray over Scripture; recognize His voice and works) to cleanse us and help keep us clean.

When the purging of the House of the Lord comes (1 Peter 4:17), I pray that those reading this blog will be of the remnant, keeping the others encouraged and informed. Amen.

Edited Three Blog Posts

In The Personas of God and  Jesus Is God’s Voice, I added these Scriptures:

John 1:3 Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.

1 Corinthians 8:6 …yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist.

Colossians 1:16 For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Hebrews 1:2 But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.

In The Personas of God, I also added this passage:

Proverbs 8:22-31
[Wisdom said,] “YHWH possessed me at the beginning of His way,
Before His works of old.
I have been established from everlasting,
From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.
When there were no depths I was brought forth,
When there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled,
Before the hills, I was brought forth.
While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields,
Or the primal dust of the world.

When He prepared the heavens, I was there,
When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,
When He established the clouds above,
When He strengthened the fountains of the deep,
When He assigned to the sea its limit,
So that the waters would not transgress His command,
When He marked out the foundations of the earth,
Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman
And I was daily His delight,
Rejoicing always before Him,
Rejoicing in His inhabited world,
And my delight was with the sons of men.

Who is Wisdom? A manifestation of His Most Holy Spirit, I believe, since He gives us wisdom as a gift [1 Corinthians 12:8, 1 Thessalonians 1:5].

In Catechize Time! Part Two – Concepts, I refined the definition of discipleship—the process of learning how to be in the world (existence), yet not of the world.

I am going to re-read my posts to make sure no repetition sets in, but I will leave dead links as evidence to others seeing what I have seen. Unfortunately, archive.org is not as comprehensive as it once was, or I would use their links for defunct pages. Perhaps I will search for new links to replace the dead ones since revelation never stops.

What Submit/Subject and Head Really Mean

My studies into the Greek word hupotasso, which we translate submit or subject, led to learning that it was a military term—soldiers who arrange themselves under a leader. Upon waking one morning, a word popped into my mind and I said it aloud, “Oh, support!”

If you read Ephesians in its entirety, the theme was preparing the saints for battle against this corrupted existence, not just how to live life. We, in the flesh, forget we are at war. Believers must support one another as we support Christ’s continuing mission in the Earth.

The word for head in Hebrew is rosh (רֹאשׁ), meaning leader or first. For example, Rosh Hashanah is not just a holiday [Yom Teruah (יוֹם תְּרוּעָה‎)], but the start of the Jewish calendar. Moses and the Israelites chose certain men, famed for their good character, as heads of the people (Exodus 18:25, Numbers 1:16, Deuteronomy 1:15). Let us break down the word by each of its Paleo-Hebrew hieroglyphs:

Rosh Paleo

The head of the Ekklesia is the First Power determined to fulfill all the Father has desired; the Beginning of His Father’s strength that fed us the Word; the Top Leader who is a double-edged sword. According to the example Yahshua set, His service to others was His means of leadership, and He said many times, “Follow me.”

John 13:15 I have set you an example so that you should do as I have done for you.

1 Corinthians 4:16
Therefore I urge you to imitate me.

1 Corinthians 11:1
You are to imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.

1 Thessalonians 1:6
And you became imitators of us and of YHWH when you welcomed the message with the joy of the Holy Spirit, in spite of your great suffering.

2 Thessalonians 3:9 Not that we lack this right, but we wanted to offer ourselves as an example for you to imitate.

Philippians 3:17 Join one another in following my example, brothers, and carefully observe those who walk according to the pattern we set for you.

Philippians 4:9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

For us mere humans, the man was first; therefore, he better set the example.

Adam failed.
Moses failed.
David failed.
Kings failed.
Priests failed.
Prophets failed.

Only Yahshua succeed. Only through Christ and the Holy Spirit can anyone succeed, never through humans.

If the husband sets the example via the Spirit, then the wife has something to support. In turn, the husband must provide what the wife needs in order to support him, whether it is emotional, financial, mental, physical, or spiritual. That is agapé (love in action). Yes, this is a mutual thing, just like the heart needs its cells to their job to keep a body alive. This is like war—making plans, having the equipment, ready to fight.

Matthew 20 (BSB)
25But Jesus called them aside and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them. 26It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave— 28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Mark 10 (BSB)
42So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them. 43But it shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44and whoever wants to be first must be the slave of all. 45For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Luke 22 (BSB)
25So Jesus declared, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them call themselves benefactors. 26But you shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves. 27For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as one who serves.”

1 Peter 5 (BSB)
1As a fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings, and a partaker of the glory to be revealed, I appeal to the elders among you: 2Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over them not out of compulsion, but because it is God’s will; not out of greed, but out of eagerness; 3not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

2 Corinthians 1:24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but we are fellow workers with you for your joy, because it is by faith that you stand firm.

Yahshua did not want us to lord ourselves over one another like the Gentiles did. He did not call anyone to be passive, either (Follow me is a battle cry). Even Abraham heeded the voice of Sarah. Paul told the readers of Romans to give Phoebe whatever she needed. Praise, pray, serve, support, encourage, and state your needs. Get your egos out of the way (Deny yourselves and take up your cross).

Deuteronomy 28:13 (BSB) YHWH will make you the head [the example for the nations] and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward, if you hear and carefully follow the commandments of YHWH Elohim, which I am giving you today.

For those with an unbelieving spouse or one weak in faith, set the example as the Holy Spirit guides you, not by playing Holy Spirit. Pray and trust the Father to do His work in your spouse. Keep the atmosphere full of Him by daily worship and service. Even the spiritual weaker spouse will be used by Yah for your benefit.

Etch this into your brains: your validation come from Yah, the Creator of all. No believer is greater than another in His sight; only your willingness to follow Him sets you apart from others. Your worth, your specialness, your holiness, your everything is His work. Give Him credit and your effort in doing what He wants from you (aka praise and glory). Amen.

And Yahshua Said, “Clean Up This Mess!”

Ezekiel 39 (BSB)
6I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they will know that I am YHWH. 7So I will make My holy name known among My people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am YHWH, the Holy One in Israel. 8Yes, it is coming, and it will surely happen, declares YHWH Elohim. This is the day of which I have spoken.

9Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out, kindle fires, and burn up the weapons—the bucklers and shields, the bows and arrows, the clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. 10They will not gather wood from the countryside or cut it from the forests, for they will use the weapons for fuel. They will loot those who looted them and plunder those who plundered them, declares YHWH Elohim.

11And on that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the Sea. It will block those who travel through, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So, it will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog. 12For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. 13All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day I display My glory, declares YHWH Elohim.

14And men will be employed to continually pass through the land to cleanse it by burying the invaders who remain on the ground. At the end of the seven months they will begin their search. 15As they pass through the land, anyone who sees a human bone will set up a pillar next to it, until the gravediggers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. 16(Even the city will be named Hamonah.) And so, they will cleanse the land.

Revelation 11:18 (NKJV) The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.

Given the pollution, drugs, and damaging farming practices over the past three centuries, I would not be surprised if Yahshua makes us clean up the entire Earth for seventy years. Why?

Leviticus 25 (BSB)
1Then YHWH said to Moses on Mount Sinai, 2“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When you enter the land that I am giving you, the land itself must observe a Sabbath to YHWH.

3“For six years you may sow your field and prune your vineyard and gather its crops. 4But in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of complete rest for the land—a Sabbath to YHWH.

“You are not to sow your field or prune your vineyard. 5You are not to reap the aftergrowth of your harvest or gather the grapes of your untended vines. The land must have a year of complete rest. 6Whatever the land yields during the Sabbath year shall be food for you—for yourself, your manservant and maidservant, the hired hand or foreigner who stays with you, 7and for your livestock and the wild animals in your land. All its growth may serve as food.”

Leviticus 26 (BSB)
34“Then the land shall enjoy its Sabbaths all the days it lies desolate, while you are in the land of your enemies. At that time the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths. 35As long as it lies desolate, the land will have the rest it did not receive during the Sabbaths when you lived in it.”

2 Chronicles 36:21 So the land enjoyed its Sabbath rest all the days of the desolation, until seventy years were completed, in fulfillment of the word of YHWH through Jeremiah.

Some postulate that Israel had overworked the land, leaving little topsoil for crops; removing them could be seen as an act of mercy for the remnant since it can take up to a century for nature to renew its top layer for farming. Instead of kicking us out the land, as it was for Israel, the opposite is possible since we will be here for a thousand years [Revelation 20]. What else would we be doing as He establishes His reign on Earth? We helped create this disaster after all.

How Do We Flow?

The new believer flows like water in a rocky stream.

The progressing believer flows like the water cycle.

The mature believer flows like air.

May we all become like air before His Breath leaves our bodies.

Amen.

Super Quick Bible Study: Good vs. Decent

Good (tov), in the Hebrew, means “functioning correctly;” therefore, decent means “striving to function correctly.” Yahshua said, “No one is good, but the Father [Mark 10:18, Luke 18:19].” Be decent and encourage those who are.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.

Matthew 7:13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Isaiah 35:8 And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it—only those who walk in the Way—and fools will not stray onto it.

Allow Me the Grace to Be a Heretic for a Moment

In this Walk of the believer, there are times when we make mistakes, endure the wrong thing, or wrestle with the Scriptures. This is why grace from Yah is vital; it’s His permission to overcome as many stumbling blocks as we can. We also must have grace to let people work through any error we believe they have and trust that He will lead them to His understanding. In their process, we may learn something we had never considered before.

My theory about Paul outgrowing his position on women teaching men was wrong. According to Zondervan’s NASB ©1995, the epistle to the Romans (and sent to other congregations) was written in 57 AD, while 1 & 2 Timothy were penned in 66 AD, during his captivity. I will play the heretic and say that was Paul’s opinion, not Father Yah’s. We tend to forget none of these people in Scripture were perfect and were from an ancient culture. The progression of people towards what Yah has wanted from the start has never stopped.

Also, we have a bunch of details missing. Where are the letters he had responded to? What did these women in Romans and Philemon do to earn Paul’s praise? What about wives whose husbands were not believers? Why did Paul say treat the older women like mothers [1 Timothy 5:2]? What did Timothy’s mother and grandmother do to instill faith in Yah into the younger man and earn Paul’s praise [2 Timothy 1:5]?

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

We should be praying for comprehension of what Yah wants, not relying on our own logic. The Bible is His Word, but He is the final authority, and the entire theme of Paul’s letters was for us to set aside the desires of flesh and soul in order to become Spirit-led [Romans 6:14, Romans 8:14, Galatians 5:18]. Or, was he wrong there as well? Who actually believes this?

I am going deepen my heresy. For the brave, take this to the Lord in prayer. To figure out what women are required to do is found in the behavior of His Most Holy Spirit. Both the words for spirit, ruach (Hebrew) and pnema (Greek) are both female nouns. The Holy Spirit is His Helper and our Guide, full of knowledge, wisdom, and gifts for us from the Father. Could this be a clue to what the Father expects from women? I do not mean trying to be the Holy Spirit; don’t twist this.

Colossians 3:2 (Literal) The [things] above, set [your] heart-minds on not on the [things] that are on the earth.

Do we really know what this means? A scant few have had the vision of the third heaven, so what should our minds be grasping here? I have read what others have interpreted, but I sense something is missing.

Hebrews 10:25 …not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

What does one do when the congregations nearby fail to have Him in their midst? At the time whomever wrote this, they still had the Holy Spirit strong, but persecution was spreading. Also, there are times when Yah wants to teach us Himself, as He did with Paul and others. These are more reasons why seeking His knowledge and wisdom is important to our spiritual health.

Job 37:24 Therefore, men fear Him, for He is not partial to the wise in heart.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Yahshua declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to little children.”

Psalm 40:4
Blessed is the man who has made YHVH his trust, who has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.

To be holy is to be set apart for His purpose. Father Yah is His Own Purpose, therefore holy by nature. A component in holiness is be vulnerable, to expose yourself as He did in creating beings that could rebel against Him. Join me as I expose parts on myself by His direction. May He strengthen me in my weakness. Amen.
